“Hi, can google chrome be downloaded on this laptop because I really do not like using internet explorer? I am only asking because the previous laptop I purchased from HP was stating all types of threats if I did not use IE which made me scared.”

• Yes, you should have no problem downloading and using Chrome. Windows often pops up messages about using Edge (the browser that replaced Internet Explorer) but you can just tell that that you don't want to use Edge and it will eventually stop asking.

• You just need to exit the S mode from windows 11 (this is a one way, you cannot be back to S mode). Then it will allow you to install chrome.
