• Yes. Yes. Not very. BTW, HP is technically incorrect. Once S mode is eliminated, it can be restored--you just do a factory reset. This also wipes your drive, however.

• Thank you for your question. The process is very easy. To switch out of S mode in Windows 11, you can go to Settings, then System, then Activation, and then select Go to the Store. From there, you can select Get on the Switch out of S mode page. Once taken out of S Mode, you cannot go back.

• S mode is made to be more streamlined and secure only allowing Microsoft store apps to be installed. You can find instructions online on Microsoft's website on how to take it out of S mode.
