• A:Answer The sound is good for a laptop in that the timbre is very clear, controlled, and decently loud. They are on both sides and are up-firing, which helps the sound. There is little to no bass when it comes to music, as you would expect from tiny speakers.

• A:Answer No. It's a Chromebook. Even if you could, the keys would be all wrong and it would be terribly underpowered. However, the reverse CAN be done - from Windows to CB - for free. The keys would still be meant for Windows, though.

• A:Answer Not specifically. But here's a tip: buy a sleeve that's meant for a 13" CB, not a 14" one. HP did a masterful job of "Jenny Craig-ing" it down with tiny bezels so it is smaller than most 14" devices. A 14" sleeve would be to loose.

• A:Answer You can read your email and do some web browsing with this Chromebook. The advantage of the 4 GB RAM and the 128 GB storage model would offer you more storage. I would also look at the processor of that other model. This model here has the Intel i3, which is better than the Celeron and Pentium processors.

Instead of Windows 10, Chromebooks run Google's Chrome OS--which is significantly less demanding of computer resources, as it is driven entirely by Google Play Store apps and online applications. This is why they often have little storage, and are so affordable--they don't need the same hefty configuration of a comparable Windows device. If you need to use software, we recommend looking a laptop with Windows 10 Home.
