A traditional HDD has moving parts and uses more power and very susceptible to jolts, hard movement etc. Solid state drives or SSD have no moving parts and use very low amounts of power. The SSD also has faster load times(in most cases) for Windows 10 and applications.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.In a traditional hard drive, there are spinning disks or platters that move when you are accessing data. It takes time for it to search. Solid state drives do not have those moving parts: therefore, they work faster for you and last a lot longer.
