The honest answer is, "it depends". It depends on how hot or cold the room is where it's being stored, whether or not you shut the printer off or let it go into sleep mode when not in use (so it caps the printheads), if you do occasional printing or if you let it sit for months between print jobs, and other factors. If you use the printer on a more or less regular basis (printing a page or two every week) and let it go to sleep or shut it off between uses, you should run out of ink before it dries up.
