Mine has lasted longer than that and has printed on more than 100 pieces of paper and still going. I would get in contact with HP. Maybe they would reimburse you or give you a free cartridge. Sometimes we encounter a fluke. I have been purchasing from HP for a long time and this has never happened. But if it did, I would definitely get in contact with the company, send it to them with the receipt and ask for a replacement. Most companies are more than happy to work with you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The number of pages it states it will print with ink is incorrect. For sure. Yes the ink is expensive for the amount of time it lasts. Suggest buying the xl. But it seems most ink isnt cheap for the amount the pages it actually prints
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Right on. You said it much better than me. For such a cheap printer, the ink sure is expensive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A cartridge that small and priced that low will only yield about that amount. There are more expensive cartridges for that printer that yield more ink. Ink will always cost more than the printer after a few cartridges, that's the way it is with all printers. Ink is expensive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same complaint. The ink does not last long enough for the price. HP Envy 4522.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm having the same issue with this printer ink. I've barely used the printer and the cartridge is empty. Have printed less that 50 pages. Last cartridge emptied just as quickly. Will not purchase HP printer again because of this ink rip off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yeah Kat I agree. At this rate it will cost me a fortune over the semester to print off my school reports and papers. I don't know if another brand can be put in my printer but I doubt it. Otherwise, I am going to try a different type.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I agree. I now purchased a new HP printer and am on a monthly plan. Let's hope it saves me money. It's still better than going to Kinko's or Office Depot for copies.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I agree it does seem that the ink runs out a bit quickly. They do offer a double size cartridge that is suppose to print 2 and half more times the amount of pages than the single cartridge for less than double the price. You may want to try that for a option. I do not print a large number of pages usually. The price for the single cartridge is still very reasonably priced if you are Best Buy rewards member which gives you a discount.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The black cartridge yields 190 pages. That is based on 5% page coverage. If you wish for the ink to last longer, you can get the 63XL cartridge. The 63XL cartridge yields up to 480 pages. I hope this helps.
