They have a book by the ink cartiages at Best Buy and it will show you which one u need

The manual on the HP website for the 7300 says that the following cartridges are what you would need, depending on your use: Print cartridges HP reorder number HP black inkjet print cartridge #96, 21 ml black print cartridge HP tri-color inkjet print cartridge #97, 14 ml color print cartridge #95, 7 ml color print cartridge HP photo inkjet print cartridge #99, 13 ml color photo print cartridge HP gray photo inkjet print cartridge #100, 15 ml gray print cartridge Hope this helped.
