“I am wondering if I add a HDD to work in tandem with the 512GB SSD, what is the max capacity that the 2.5" HDD can have. All of the HP support documents only refer to 1TB HDDs. Thank you”

Thanks for your question. At this time there are 2.5" HDD with higher capacity. With the prices coming down, you may wish to add a SATA SDD to maintain the fastest performance. So, you can upgrade the storage by adding a 2.5" HDD or SDD. This requires significant disassembly so you may wish to consult Geek Squad for assistance.
