“just bought this laptop for work so I’m using it all day. It’s only a week old. I’m only getting on average 2.5 hours of full use until the battery notification pops up saying plug it in it’s at 10%. Is this normal? keyboard backlight is off.”

• My computer averaged about 5,25 hours on the battery. This was from 98% to 10% on the battery when I tested it. My cooling fan cycle is short, about 1 to 2 minutes. It doesn't seem to run that often either. I'm in the house with a/c. A warm enviroment would make the fan run more using up the battery.
