You are confusing Safe Mode with S Mode. "Safe Mode" is a diagnostic tool to troubleshoot Windows problems by booting with minimal drivers and services, while "S Mode" is a version of Windows that restricts app installation to only those from the Microsoft Store, enhancing security and performance. Any Windows computer can be booted into Safe Mode for diagnostic purposes, while computers in S Mode are purchased that way (or you can change the computer to it, via changes to the Registry). S Mode is only applicable to Windows Home versions of the operating system, while Safe Mode can be used with either Home or Professional versions of the software.
