Any battery life estimate supplied by the manufacturer will be unreliable. This is because they don't state the specific circumstances under which this was measured. Search out reviews for more information, and more reliable estimates. P.S.; i once saw battery life on two laptops I was considering for sale at BB, by the same manufacturer, estimated at 1 hour for one, and 40 for the other. I doubt either was correct or reliable.

Hi THAEnger, and thanks for the question about the battery life with this laptop.The battery life is listed at 8 hours, 45 minutes under "mixed use", which is how a typical person uses a laptop.
