“does this printer allow for "complete a print"? meaning, if i am out of color ink will it still print in black ink or if i'm out of black can change my font to blue or red or whatever color and it will print for me?”

• Yes, you can print in black as long as you have a black cartridge in place, or it will "make" black from the tricolor cartridge. This printer will print in single cartridge mode.
