• Yes this HP Envy 5055 does scan and while I wouldn't bet the farm on it, I believe I read 6 pages per minute. It is not fast but the copies and prints it does produce are very good. A great inexpensive home printer perfect for my use.

• Yes, this printer scans. It can print 7 pages per minute for colored and 10 pages per minute for mono.
