• It comes with a starter pack they told use about 15 pages. I think maybe more like 20-25 pages!

• Yes, it had both the black and the tri-color cartridges in the box, packed with the regular white HP foil wrapper.

• Yes, ink comes with the purchase of the printer but they are 'starter' cartridges meaning they are filled to 40% - 50% capacity of the standard cartridges

• Yes, mine did. I read that it’s important to use the ink that is supplied in the carton with the printer first. Sorry, I don’t recall why.
