“I have a printer - HP Envy 5055. I cannot shut it down. It reverts instead to sleep mode”

• If you hit the power button twice, On the touch screen it will say it is going into sleep mode and in the lower lefthand corner will be an option to shut down the printer instead. This option only lasts for 5 second s unfortunately.

• You should not have to power down the printer. If you turn it off the printer cannot perform maintenance needed to keep the printheads working properly.
