No faster then any other. The benifit is $30.00 for ink vs. $60.00 ink. That's why I got this printer and I am very happy with it. I use it for my business.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All HP Tri-Color Ink Cartridges, both regular and XL will not run out but dry out if you let them sit more than a few weeks. You should create a small maintenance document with a paragraph composed of characters that are composed of Black, Yellow, Cyan and Magenta and print out that small document every ten days or so just to keep your inks flowing so there are no surprises. Black seems to hold it's age fairly well but I would still include black in the small paragraph. Not huge characters or graphics, just about a third of a page in 12 point font with letters of all 4 colors.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The standard HP 65 print cartridges will print about 100 pages, and the 65XL cartridges will print about 300 pages. Also using the HP Instant Ink program you can save 50% on printing and never run out of ink. https://instantink.hpconnected.com/us/en/l/
