- Answer No faster then any other. The benifit is $30.00 for ink vs. $60.00 ink. That's why I got this printer and I am very happy with it. I use it for my business.

- Answer The Envy 5055 does not have a fax. I would recommend the HP Officejet 5255 for the fax.

- Answer The Envy 5055 printer uses the 65 or 65xl (high yield) ink cartridges. The cost per page is going to vary based on what is printed on the page. The black will yield about 100 pages. The color will yield about 120 pages. The high yield black and color cartridges will each yield about 300 pages. That is calculated with 5% coverage on a page. 100% coverage would be a full page photo. If you are concerned about the cost of ink, I would recommend looking at the HP Instant Ink program. The 3 paid plans that are available are the: 50 pages for $2.99, 100 pages for $4.99 and 300 pages for $9.99. And you can rollover up to two months worth of pages. You would pay for amount of pages you print rather the ink you buy. The ink and shipping is included. You would get a 2 month trial of HP Instant just for buying the printer.

- Answer If you have a computer, you can plug this printer in using a USB A-B printer cable. If not, you can use WiFi Direct which does not require a router or internet connection (you will be able to print from a phone using just our HP Smart App, but you will need access to the internet once to install drivers if you are using a computer).
