“Does the glowing light stay on all the time or can I shut it off when not in use? The on/off button on back seems to shut the entire printer off including the wifi. Is there a way to reduce the images printed to fit on a package I want to ship?”

Harry, thank you for telling me where the on/off switch is on this Printer in the back. It is not marked and there are no instructions to tell you where it is, even from the printed help page from pressing the red X. Glowing light stays on the whole time printer is on. I do not know how to reduce images. No instructions. Sorry I cannot help you with that.

Please try again later.Hello, if you are a part of the HP+ program with this great printer, and also part of the HP Instant Ink program your printer should remain powered on at all times. The glowing light should diminish automatically after the computer is turned off and it is not in use for an extended period of time. Yes you can reduce the picture size through the HP Smart app. Thank you for being an HP customer!
