• If you have Wi-Fi you can connect your printer wirelessly to your phone or tablet. If you just plug the printer in I'm assuming you can copy things.

• You can copy offline, but I use it to copy and scan directly from my computer screen. My wife's computer is also hooked up for the same usage.
