Latest technology with the HP Envy. Photosmart 7520 was a good machine - we had it for several years.

The discontinued Photosmart 7520 had landline fax capability, the Envy Inspire 7955e does not, although you can send faxes using the HP Smart app. The Photosmart 7520 had a media card slot, the Envy Inspire 7955e does not, however it does support camera phones using the HP Smart app. The Photosmart 7520 used five cartridges, including photo black, the Envy Inspire 7955e uses a two cartridge system with HP 64 ink cartridges (black - 704 print head nozzles) and tri-color - 684 print head nozzles) with ink formulated for superior, lasting quality photo output on photopapers. The Envy Inspire 7955e has a separate tray for photo paper, and can print notations on the back of photos as well as perform automatic duplex printing of documents. Print resolution is higher with the Envy Inspire 7955e : Black (best) Up to 1200 x 1200 rendered dpi, Color (best) Up to 4800 x 1200 optimized dpi color (when printing from a computer and 1200 input dpi). Scan resolutions is the same for both printers - up to 1200 dpi. Print speed per minute is significantly higher with the Envy Inspire 7955e.
