Hi, I uninstalled my canon mg7720 from my computer in programs and features and the control panel. There is a pending update for the printer. Says "Install now." Please advise. Regards.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As stated: )You can stop this by removing the printer in Control Panel. Once removed you won't see any more updates, 2)You also need to make sure it's not installed in Programs and Features, also verify this in Control Panel and if it's installed it must also be uninstalled as well to prevent the system looking for updates on a printer is no longer working or in use. 3)One last thing besides these two other things mentioned, I hope the printer is not powered on somewhere in that place and wifi ready connected because if this last one is as I am saying, it won't remove as is being detected by the wifi connection and even if removed it will popup again in the machine and install by itself with it's needed drivers because it does automatically, to prevent this you will need to power off the printer completely, so it won't show at all. In programs and features: there are several canon features: Do I delete them all? Regards.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.in step two it says: Make sure the printer is turned on and in a ready state. If your printer connects to the computer with a USB cable, disconnect the cable from the printer. In Windows, search for and open Control Panel. Click Devices and Printers, right-click the icon for your printer , and then click Remove Device or Uninstall device. If you do not see your printer in the list, expand the Printers section. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the printer removal. If multiple icons exist for your printer, remove them all. But the printer is not connected. its is not workable. Do I follow the rest of the directions as stated? Regards.
