• It doesn't matter the brand what matters is choosing the right settings when printing, just choose the HP glossy setting's or other paper source.

• Hi Theresa, thank you for the question. Yes, the Envy Photo 7855 will accept non-HP branded papers. Your result may be better using HP photo paper, however.
