“When scanning documents or photos can they be saved on to a flash drive via the usb port?”

This printer does not have a front USB port that allows you to scan to a USB flash drive. If you want to be able to scan and save to a USB flash drive, we recommend looking at the HP Envy Photo 7855, HP Officejet Pro 8035, 9015, and 9025 printers.

Went with an HP Envoy 7155 photo printer which does have a memory card slot
