No everything is through the app and wifi. You would most likely be very frustrated

You will need a USB Printer cable or an AB printer cable to do it. If the printer is close enough, it also offers to broadcast its own WIFI signal - allowing you to connect to it directly and not worry about your home WIFI signal. I hope this helps!
