• Yes, the SSD NvMe drive can be replaced, along with the RAM. HP has a video on their You Tube channel showing how to remove the bottom cover, and access these parts.

• Hello, the SSD is Generation 3. No, this device is not built for the user to access internally. However you can add an external SSD if you so desire. Thank you for being an HP customer!
