Hello, as with all technology advancements batteries have also advanced in energy and resiliency. This laptop comes with a state-of-the-art current Lithium-ion battery. An option would be to purchase an extended warranty if you are concerned about the battery life. Please check with a Best Buy associate to have them explain the options to you!
