• You will need to purchase but right now MS has a office 365 package for up to 6 users with 3 additional months free with 12 month subscription. I think it was 89.00 but have seen dame deal on another site for 69.00 with purchase of new computer.

• It comes with a one month trial of Microsoft 365, which includes Word. After the trial expires, you'll need to purchase it to continue using Word and the other 365 programs.
