A:Answer SSDs don't produce a lot of heat, so the upgrade from 128gb to 1tb probably isn't your issue. The issue is that the case is too compact for any real airflow. I was getting 90C+ temps for my CPU under load. That's within spec, but not great for long-term use. Problem is, you can't really put in a good CPU cooler because the case is too small. There's no room for a front fan or for a bigger rear fan. I did reseat the existing CPU cooler with better thermal paste and that brought temps to about 85C. That's pretty much all you can do with this PC and it's compact size. I ended up buying a new motherboard and power supply and transferring the rest of the parts to a bigger tower. I also bought a better CPU cooler. Those actions brought my CPU temps down to 52C under load. Much better!
