• Good question. When you sign up for Instant Ink, you will make an account online where you will be able to keep track of the number of pages you've printed, upgrade/downgrade plans, printing history, and more. I hope this helps.

• When you sign up for the HP ink program you can also register on the HP website. You can then view EVERYTHING regarding your personal printer usage. Great program. Just signed on myself a month ago.
