Yes; there is an auto-document feeder (ADF) that can hold and scan up to 40 pages at a time--however, it is not a duplexing scanner. If you want to make 1-sided copies, or only need 1-sided scans, this works perfectly fine. But if you need to make 2-sided copies, you have to feed the pages in one at a time after adjusting the printer settings to accommodate 1-sided source documents to produce 2-sided copies. If you need a bunch of 2-sided scans, you'll have to scan the front side of all pages first using the ADF, then flip your sheets over to scan all the back sides, then combine the two sets of scans into a single document.
