• Yes, the HP+ program is required for this LaserJet M234sdwe to function. The HP + program requires you to use either the Instant Ink program or the commitment to use only genuine HP toner.

• I use with linux without any hp enrollment or online setup and also on my windows 11 install. Just plugged it in and it works fine. Be sure to d/l the drivers before plugging it in.
