QuestionDoes this printer just go into "Sleep" mode after a certain amount of time(but then will "wake up" when a print job is sent),or does it also have a "Deep Sleep" mode that you have to physically change to regular "Sleep" in order for print jobs to go thru?

- Answer It will just go into a sleep mode but wake up when a new print job HAS been sent to it.

QuestionMy current desk jet won't even print black ink if any of the color ink is out. It's frustrating to not even be able print in black. will I have the same problem with any HP laser printer? Do I have to replace all the inks before it prints even in black?

- Answer Yes, all toners have to have something in them to be able to print.

- Answer I have never heard of heat transfer papers so cannot speak to them, but be aware that laser printers use heat during the printing process.

QuestionWhy are the color toners only half full when purchasing a LaserJet printer? That just sounds crazy when your purchasing a brand new printer. This isn't reflected in the price of a LaserJet or in new color toners; both are expensive! Please advise.
