how much is the ink, and how many prints do I get? null

The LaserJet Pro M281FDW uses the HP 202A Black, Cyan, Yellow, and Magenta toner cartridges. The Black 202A Toner yields 1,400 pages, and costs $64.99; each color 202A toner yields 1,300 pages and costs $76.99.

This printer is a LaserJet (not an Ink Jet) so it uses 4 LaserJet color cartridges (Black, Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow) and not Ink cartridges. This is a good think because from my experience, the ink dries out in the Ink Jets if not used for a while. Each of the 4 color LaserJet cartridges cost $70-$75 each to replace (HP 202A). They do offer a high capacity cartridge for about $99 each (HP 202X). The HP 202A has a specified number of printed pages listed as 1300. HOWEVER, after using this printer for 5 months I see that we have used about 80% of the cartridges but have only printed 650 pages. Thus, we are getting about 50% less than the advertised amount of printed pages per cartridge. I am currently struggling with HP support trying to get this resolved (a painful experience).
