The HP LaserJet does not use ink cartridges (liquid). There is no tri-color cartridge for laserjets. All Laserjet printers use Toner cartridges (dry ink powder). You have to buy individual toner cartridges for black and each color. Toner cartridges are more expensive than ink cartridges, they print more pages per cartridge and last longer because the toner is a dry powder ink.
