Yes it will do a stack of pages and create a single PDF file. For example, if you put in 4 pages in the document feeder, it will scan them (even two sided if you wish) and will create a single PDF file that you can save to USB stick, save to a PC/Mac on your local network, or email to yourself.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Are you referring to scanning 'one page at a time' as a document feeder limitation of the printer or that each page is scan to individual files? The MFP M281fdw has a document feeder that allows you to do multiple documents at a time or you can use the flatbed for individual documents if you prefer. Rendering the scans to a file(s) is really more a function of the application you are using. The basic HP package scans to individual files while my Foxit PhantomPDF application allow me to scan and edit to a single pdf document.
