“Why sign up for a "replenishment" option if 1] I use little ink/month and 2] the initial kit will print 190 pages or so? Would I pay 2.99/month and get new inks and they just stack up at home? Or, do you put less ink in each cartridge to match usage?”

I signed up for instant ink due to COVID. I did not want to go out to any stores. Not sure I will continue instant ink when I return to my office but for now, I am enjoying it. The cartridges they send are larger so they hold more ink and last longer than a standard cartridge you buy at the store. You can always cancel your instant ink contract.
