QuestionI just used this printer probably 20 times in a year. It is out of warranty as of October of 1917. The sensors are not working. Have you had this as a trait of this model? Afraid to buy same one again. thanks

- Answer This HP Officejet 3830 printer is a new model and has no known sensor issue. Warranty on this product, like any electronic device, is optional and may be renewable in some cases.

- Answer I may be late to answer, butttttttt if you did not call your local Best Buy....try to find out "IF" they have a Best Buy retail store in the area where you daughter is located at. You may do so, as an in-store pick up and I believe there are instructions on bestbuy.com as it asks, "WHO will pick up item". You or someone else (something of the sort), if any further questions, I believe the Best Buy chat feature has stepped up their quality and can help you, ifffffffffff I'm way too late or haven't given out enough useful info.

QuestionDo you have a printer that has cartridges that you can refill with ink you can purchase? I'm sick of spending 80 bucks for cartridges that run out right away, it's to expensive?

- Answer These cartridges are under $20 for the authentic HP replacements #63's (not knock off or refill, so you never get poor clumpy ink). Both black and color replacement cartridges are just $20 each, it's a huge part of what I love about HP printers - ECONOMICAL~! There are only two in the unit (unlike Canon which can have 5 or more). Love my HP!
