• The 4650 would probably suit your needs. I don't print pictures either and I like it just fine for printing.

• I do not know the difference between the 2 printers. I am not a photo printer either that is why I chose this one. A salesperson at Best Buy will be able to answer your question as they were very helpful to me. This printer was easy to set up and is simple.
