Yes, you can use this printer with a Mac. My wife uses it at home with her MacBook work compute4 all the time. And yes, wirelessly means it’s ysed over a wi-fi system. It does not need to be hard wired to your, or any, PC on your network.

I don't know about compatible with a Mac but yes you can link to a laptop. My printer is in another room and works great. I set it up myself and I am not computer savey.
