“Actually just need to print black n white (Black Ink). Have no use for the color. Therefore, my question is once I install the black ink which probably is not included....Do I need to install also the color ink...or take it back and have them recycle it?”

Unfortunately, with the OfficeJet Pro models, you need all four cartridges to be installed in order to print, even in black. The printhead is built into the printer, and would be damaged by printing without ink in each of the cartridges.Also, setup cartridges are included in the printer box for all four colors (black, magenta, cyan, and blue). If you are looking for an affordable printer for single-cartridge printing (black only) with an option for adding a color cartridge, check out the OfficeJet and Envy models. If you want to print black only, with no option for color, a monochrome laser is another option.
