• Scans both sides (long or short edge); takes time between sides for ink to dry, before it shoots it out finished.

• Hello. Thanks for your question. This HP Officejet Pro 8025e printer can only scan one side at a time. If you would like the capability to scan 2 sided, we recommend looking at the HP Officejet Pro 9015e or 9025e printers.
