• windows 7, 8 and 10. Ask HP directly re Vista but I bet it is. This model also is wireless and will print from your phone!

• It definitely supports windows 10 , works great with my laptop and desktop!! It shows on hp's website that it requires windows 7 or newer for the software running the 8740 printer. Hope this helps. :)

• Without a doubt, it is compatible with Windows 10 as this is the OS I use. In addition, the HP website claims to have drivers for Vista (32-bit and 64-bit), see https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-officejet-pro-8740-all-in-one-printer-series/7902055 - just select 'Windows' and 'Vista' from the drop down menus.
