9015e is about 1/2 the initial cost plus 6 months of free Instant Ink cartridges. My 9015e has a slightly smaller footprint than the 8635 it replaced. Print speed is about the same. The 8015e has a quiet mode which is very nice. Both have pigment ink cartridges which do not run or smear when I print my handmade art cards and bath & body product labels.

It has the same paper handling and tray capacity, fax handling, Fax memory on the 9015e is 100 pages, whereas the 8610 has 120 pages of fax memory (Based on standard ITU-T test image #1 at standard resolution. More complicated pages or higher resolution will take longer and use more memory.)
