“Is there anything I cannot use this gaming laptop for? I'll watch TV and DVDs and use Office. I want excellent display. I have a separate optical drive. I need 15 " screen. I don't understand the difference of a dedicated gaming laptop.”

Everything that you have mentioned you can do with this laptop and more and good thing you have a separate optical drive where you can plug into the laptop to play cds/DVDs
