• I don't see any sense on this since the motherboard it's decent for the job. You can upgrade like I did using a RTX 4060 without any issues or gaps. No PSU substitution required, the CoolerMaster holds the new GPU easily.

• According to nVidia, the 1660 has a power draw of 120W while the 3060 has a power draw of 225W. You would need to upgrade the power supply. As an alternative, you can purchase a new HP Omen from the 45L line that has 3060 or higher card and a higher-wattage power supply. HP's warranty does not cover parts that were not factory-installed.
