Hello and thank you for your question. When purchasing a pre-built computer like this HP Omen, you do not have to connect or build any pieces of the internal components of the desktop. You will still have to plug the power cable into the wall, and connect a monitor to the desktop, as well as any additional external devices such as a mouse and keyboard.
