It is a very sharp monitor. Will outperform any regular tv panel. Somewhat expensive unless you take equipment seriously, somewhat too small if sitting way back on a couch.

So you are likely getting bumped down to 1080p. Additionally, this screen is more than twice as fast as a PS5 - which likes to keep things at a (very nice) 60 fps. This can handle well over 100 (I believe like 160...). So the resolution is a waste and the speed is a waste. This would be a fantastic fit for a gaming pc or a Series X because both support the native resolution and at least sometimes can use the extra fps. For a PS5 I'd just focus on getting something that can do 60 fps with a good gaming mode and a high picture quality. I don't know what the cheapest OLED tv costs these days but I'd start there as the perfect screen then scale back price and features as needed if you prioritize a lower price point. I have this screen paired to an alienware with a 3080 and it is fantastic in that environment - though I sometimes wish it were a 32 inch and not a 27. For a PS5, you're not bringing the right features to take advantage of the best parts of this particular screen other than good image quality. That can probably be had elsewhere though. Good luck!
