• This OMEN Gaming Monitor, with a higher resolution (greater than 1080p), the HDMI cannot deliver 165Hz. At 1080p resolution, up to 144Hz is supported. The DisplayPort port on this monitor will support up to 165Hz at 1440p.

• I believe that depends on the HDMI cord you have. I use a 2.1 HDMI cable that came with the Xbox series X and I do have tested games that run at 120fps..

• I think this depends on your graphics card because mine (Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650) tops out at 144 Hz. I don't have 164 Hz as an option when I open Display Settings even though the OMEN 27i supports it.
