Stephen, thank you for your question on this HP Omen 40L gaming desktop! It is equipped with a 600W power supply unit. The FrostBreath boar that is in this only handles the regular AMD processors. The AMD processors that have "X" or "3D" in their description require the FrostBreathOC board.
