In order for your machine to work efficiently, you must meet the minimum requirements for your hardware and software. It is not advisable to operate outside those minimum parameters, as the hardware may not only fail to function but may cause damage as well. That particular GPU will require a power supply with at least 650W.

An expensive one at that. Computers are complicated pieces of hardware cause if one thing goes wrong, you have to figure out what the cause is.
